Wolverine Cirque - repeat

Beautiful day back in Wolverine. This shot was at the end of the day, you can see that the zone got schralped.

Here is a shot coming through one of the fun lines up there.

Dropping in on a line off Wolvie peak.

In the air. Loving it.

Back to Wolverine Cirque

Had a nice look around Wolverine Cirque this morning.

The fellas like it too. Todd Ligare raising his arm in stokedness. Photographer Nick Teichrob getting his gear together.

I skied a couple lines off that opposing peak. And Ligare skied a couple proud lines lookers left.

Today was the first day in the Ski Salt Lake Shootout, I think we got some shots! Good luck Nick! It was his first time shredding/shooting in Utah - it was fun showing him some of the classic zones.

Jackson Hole w Rachael

It’s funny when you think of people you knew in High School, some you are still friends with, most are distant memories. For Rachael and I, it’s pretty cool, we became friends in high school, have skied together quite a bit in Utah, and it’s really cool that here we find ourselves skiing together, getting to know Jackson one day at a time. Rach is a blast to ski with, add Jackson to that, and every day is an adventure.

Rach and I getting scrunchy.

Look at just one of the zones around here!

Me, Rach, and photographer Wade McKoy at the top of tram.

Discrete in Germany

Over the past year, I’ve worked to align Discrete with some great Int’l distributors. Right now, our German distributor is doing a great job of getting our brand aligned with some great local athletes in Germany. The Freeski-Crew is sporting Discrete, they are a crew that have a strong following in Germany and Austria, they make great videos, and really are great skiers. Here is a blog post from them in regards to Discrete:

Jackson is a pretty big place.

Jackson Hole is the type of place you hear about, a big, scary, fun, rustic, old west, real deal skiing kind of place. It is all of that. I have skied here one trip a few years ago, we went just on the outskirts of the resort boundaries, and what I saw was pretty intense. Well today we cruised around quite a bit, I saw TONS of new stuff, Jackson is HUGE. I still haven’t even scratched the surface of what is around here to see, let alone ski. Rachael Burks skied two super proud lines today, full stomp mode. Lynsey Dyer aint afraid either. I had the honor to meet and work with Teton iconic photographer Wade McKoy today. Full blue skies today, deeep in spots, no wind, had a blast.

Rachael Burks 5th in POWDER reader poll !

Rach and I after a nice pow run at Alta.

Jen Hudak and Rach, after Jen won gold in the X-games Superpipe, and after Rach got up on stage to accept her award!
