Our last afternoon at Island Lake Lodge the snow got a little warm and heavy. Not the best skiing. So our guide, Rick, said, “well we do need to burn off the dead bristleconed trees so we don’t fuel the fire season, want to burn some dead trees?”. Island Lake is privately owned land, the trees are spaced, and it is legal to burn these trees. Please don’t go burning dead trees after seeing this, most times it is illegal and a bad idea.

Smith I/O Goggles are a great goggle. Last season, the first year the goggle was introduced, there was a slight problem with air coming up through the nose. That’s all fixed and I love this goggle. I suggest it for anyone. Lenses are super easy to swap, peripheral is great, functional, and good looking.
