TIME May Not Exist

TIME

Time Might Not Exist. Everything It Seems Is Based On Time. Yet The Only Thing In The Universe That Pays Attention To Time Is Us Humans - Because We Made It Up. We Are Always Looking For A Beginning And An End … Even All Our Experiments And Observations Intended To Help Us Figure Out This Planet All Have Beginnings And Ends. Maybe That Is Why We Haven’t Figured Sh*t Out Yet … Is Because We Are Basing Everything On A False Pretense. It’s Possible That Everything JustIs. No Start Stop. No Kickstart. No Hotwire. No Initial Ignition. Everything JustIs. We Want To Know How The Planet Was Created. We Wonder When It Is Going To End. Maybe The Planet Always Has JustBeenAnd Always WillBe. The Universe And Everything We Know Might Just Be Hanging Out And Representing With No Time Passing. Just Being / An Eternity In One Instant. I Think Since It Would Be Hard To Break Free Of Time Thinking It Makes Sense That I Bet There Was A ‘Start’ Of Humans On This Planet And Most Likely There Will Be An ‘End’. This Goes For The Planet ‘Earth’ & The ‘Sun’. But After Humans Are Gone - Who Else Is Going To Pay Attention To Time - Nobody -We Made It Up. Our Time Will Be Over And Time Will Not Exist Once Again. Everything - The Sun And The Stars Will Just Be Chilling Like They Always Have. Before And With Us, And Then Without Us.

1st Annual Tahoe Crossing

20080810_paddleboard_0006.jpgOn Monday August 11, 2008 I participated in the crossing of Lake Tahoe, all 22 miles of it, on a paddle board. The crossing was a fundraiser for theBob Woodruff Foundationfor traumatic brain injuries for Iraq and Afghan Vets. It was a special day. I am very pleased to have been invited.20080810_paddleboard_0048.jpgDave Kalama letting the folks know what’s up. A documentary was made of the crossing by mulit-Emmy documentary award winnerDavid L. We were very happy to have 4 or 5 boats chilling with us to give us food and water. 20080811_paddleboard_0275.jpgBut every once in awhile you’d find yourself all out on your own. Very cool feeling. Did you know Lake Tahoe is 1600 feet deep? I didn’t.20080811_paddleboard_0283.jpgStroking.imgp0197.jpgChuck Patterson-The man.n1065250082_30126084_3167.jpg20080811_paddleboard_0390.jpgThe posse coming into home stretch. I felt good all day long, but the lastcouple miles I was feeling it a little. My feet were wore, and my big toes were numb. And my back, lats, traps, shoulders, core, stomach, hip flexors, ass, hammies, calves, hands, just about everything was feeling it. Pretty cool.20080811_paddleboard_0404.jpg!Land-Ho! What a day. What a great experience. Met some incredible people and was very stoked on the cause.I look forward to next year. mail.jpeg

Going to TAHOE for Fundraiser, PADDLE BOARD

So check this out: about a month ago a friend of mine asked if I’d like to participate in a fundraiser to help out with injured soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan - he said we’d be ‘paddle boating’ across Lake Tahoe. I thought it sounded cool and would be good for my knee to get in a little paddle boat and essentially ‘bike’ across the lake - good for my knee. A week ago I got the press release and it was talking about ‘paddle boarding’ not boating. And it says it’s 18 miles across the length of Lake Tahoe!! And then it says dudes like Jonny Mosely, Daron Ralves, Jeremy Jones, etc etc are doing it !! Here is a picture of what I get to stand on and paddle across Lake Tahoe:occystand.jpgIt is all going down this Monday August 11. We are beginning the journey early in the morn and hopefully, if the winds cooperate, take 5 to 6 hours. Beers are going to taste good that night.
