Here I am a person on this earth. This earth has known many a person. Earth has known many society. Society has known and gone through the hoops of many different types of society structures. Right now me, you, him, her, everyone is either directly or indirectly living in an age of Capitalism. The earth is starting to perk up to Capitalism - Earth doesn’t like it much. All these huge cities all over the planet, I compare it to huge scabs on planet earth. Just like your skin heals and re-news from scabs - I believe the earth knows how to heal and re-new society’s scabs. Capitalism is not very old in the grand scheme of things, and it’s definitely had its ups, but I think it has an inevitable ‘down’. It is all correlated with contentness. Capitalism defines contentness as failure. Capitalism is defined by consumption, of earth’s resources - year after year, if we do not consume the same or more than the year before - our economy fails. Capitalism says bad job. Contentness is mandatory for a human like me and the other (approaching) 7 billion people on this planet to co-exist. But Capitalism won’t stand for content status among us. We fail - says this current society structure. It is it’s fatal flaw. It can not last, it will not last. What I am hoping is there will be a natural shift in energy or whatever makes us tick. And it will be our species unanimously and simultaneously realizing our minimalness then striving for knowledge and peace. I say be content with what you have. Just a little bit. I am not saying live naked off grains in the woods. I am saying buy one Ferrari instead of two. You know what I’m saying. Be content.
